California Cut Flower Commission

The California Cut Flower Commission was the USA’s oldest and largest American cut flower organization, dedicated to promoting locally grown flowers. They disbanded in 2020 with the formation of a larger Nationwide entity American Grown Flowers.

The Ask

California Flower Farmers needed help leveraging their individual efforts into combined & unified campaigns promoting consumers’ benefits to purchasing California cut flowers & greens over imports.

The Solution

Taking the lead over California Cut Flower Commissions’ digital assets has been one of our most fulfilling jobs to date. While we maybe have been hired to help the organization gain public awareness and humanize the farmers behind the flowers, we quickly discovered we were actually helping hundreds of California flower farmers thrive under the continually growing threat of imported flowers.

In short time, we became a fully integrated digital marketing division for all of California Grown Flowers, bringing our team’s decades of expertise to create television & print campaigns, and assist with boots on the ground at live events.

Sadly, in the wake of COVID-19, the flower farmers of California formally agreed to disband the organization, and as of July 31, 2020, and are no longer active.
